Shannon’s affiliation with Hope Center Ministries began in early 2007. He decided it was time for a life change after a series of events, which included: severe addiction, loss of family and friends, and nearly the end of his own life. Shannon explains that God used Hope Center Ministries to completely restore his life from a seemingly inescapable state of despair and hopelessness. Upon graduation in 2008, Shannon volunteered to help new residents develop a relationship with Christ, which was the foundation of his own recovery. He began leading a lawn/work crew, then went on to counseling, and eventually was promoted to Director, then to Regional Director. He is currently serving on the Executive Team as Director of Operations. Shannon and his wife Tabitha have two daughters, Layla and Hope.
